Neighborhood Watch

The Henrico County’s Neighborhood Watch Group was restarted in our community in 2018, to provide education about obtaining police assistance, to get to know your neighbors so you know when something seems suspicious. The meetings are informal and provide any crime stats for area, the community officer presents helpful information and there is a Q&A session.

All residents are invited. The meetings are held at The Springs Recreation Center.

If you see something suspicious, immediately call Henrico Police Non-Emergency 804 501-5000 and report it.

Then contact act our Neighborhood Watch by emailing: [email protected]

Trespassers

What is a trespasser?

A trespasser is someone who is an uninvited guest or person, if the person cannot give a valid name of someone they are visiting in our community, they are likely a trespasser. Some solicitors are trespassing. Henrico Police doesn’t deal with solicitors and does not pre-approve them unlike what solicitors will tell you, Henrico does not do that - so that's a red flag they are not telling you the truth.

It doesn't matter if someone says they are here to meet someone. They must be able to tell us who they are coming to see - name, not my cousin.

Homeowners' and residents' family who do not live here or friends are not to be here when they are not present, cannot be loitering or doing other things onsite. This is trespassing per our Declarations and attorney.

Solicitors like sales people for Verizon and ADT are not authorized by the Association and are trespassers. They can be very aggressive. Tell them they are trespassing and to leave or you will call the police. Contact the board at the email address above.

Political campaigning is not considered trespassing per courts. (Elected politicians make the laws.)

Trespassers on Association’s common areas will be issued a ban letter by authorized police and Association representatives. If a trespasser returns, they will be arrested. Contact [email protected].

If you want to do the same with your property, you must post an authorized No Trespassing Sign that has been approved by the Board. You must contact our community officer to learn what you must do next and what paperwork you must use.
